Perhaps the most exciting vintage for sparkling wine yet from Argyle! Like the growing season of 2001, this Brut is generous and elegant. The aromas are a wonderful ebb and flow of fruit and mineral. Look for an immediate hit of peach with apricot fruit that flows into double baked wheat cracker yeast, then on into a delightful blend of lemon grass, Forelle pear with spicy ginger root.

The 2003 vintage displays the exemplary Cabernet Sauvignon style for which the Stags Leap District is famous. A deeply hued garnet, it has an intense black fruit bouquet with rich vanilla notes. This plush wine coats the palate, exuding blackberry and black cherry flavors with hints of smoke. The velvety tannins are seamlessly integrated, making it suitable for a meal or simply by itself.

One of Italy's great red wines, produced from Nebbiolo grapes grown in the Langhe area of Piedmont. The wine takes its name from the village of its origin. The nose is almost sensual in its complexity, with aromas of forest fruits,
plums, licorice, mineral and coffee scents. Long, complex finish with fine, silk-like tannins and good acidity; dense
structure, full of super-ripe fruit.

Fifty-four percent of this blend is from our 60-acre Red Ranch in Alexander Valley. We farm 15 separate blocks of Cabernet Sauvignon here on ground ranging from gently sloping to terraced. The oldest vines in this blend were planted in 1987. The remaining 46% comes from our Bismark Mountain Vineyard high in the southern Mayacamas Mountains overlooking the San Francisco Bay.

The attractive sweet espresso and black raspberry add to the mystery of this wine. A bit of bottle age should allow the spicy, cherry fruit and vanilla oak to shine. Aromas of violet and blackberry briars with Dark ruby hues.

Strawberries and floral aromas of lavender and lilies intrigue the nose with hints of vanilla. The strawberry invasion continues in the mouth with balanced flavors and acidity of berries and loquats. The malolactic and sur-lie aging of the wine enhances the fullness and weight among the acidity. Enjoy with grilled fish, chicken, salads or as an aperitif!

We found perfect Syrah conditions in Sonoma County's Dry Creek Valley, which shares important characteristics with the Rhone Valley. With luscious fruit and the best concepts of both the Old and New Worlds, the winemaking team
crafted a voluptuous wine. Though ready today, Syrah is slow to mature, so the inaugural vintage will
benefit with a few years' cellaring.
It has all the attributes to be a monumental wine.
